Retirement Announcement
"I have reached
the time to retire but hope to continue with this website for
the foreseeable future and I shall produce prints to order.
For some time I have
not been using email as the great burden of spam made things impossible.
For this reason I am tentatively giving my new email address as

This movie stuff and youtube
is all new to me but
I felt my way with a short film showing the current sad state
of the old Paddle Steamer Ryde.
In the late fifties, I sometimes travelled to work at
HMS Vernon, Portsmouth on this ferry and often saw dolphins playing
on her bow wave.

My other offerings are two films
from around 50 years ago :-
A frantic Chaplin style chase starring my friends and myself where
we end by
throwing a pre-war Austin Seven over a cliff..OUCH!
and
a film made by my brother inlaw showing me making a plaster cast
from my sister's face.
Both old cine films were left in a damp shed for many years but
I managed to save most of the action,
although a little misty.
