September 5th 1940. Pilot officer 'Stapme' Stapleton zooms over downed Baron Franz von Werra after
a dogfight in the skies of Kent. The German pilot attempts to burn documents before being captured by
an army cook and other soldiers. He salutes the RAF pilot who pressed him to force-land his ME 109.

Later he becomes the only German prisoner to escape and
make his way back to Germany.
